You are cordially invited to attend Cedar Hill’s Back-to-School Night on Thursday, September 12, 2019. We will begin in the cafeteria with all K-5 parents at 6:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity for Mrs. Uhler, Ms. Wilcox, and Mr. Ciempola to welcome and address parents. Our PTO presidents and a parent representative from PEC will speak as well. In the back of the gym, there will be tables with information and dues collection from the PTO, scouting groups, PEC, etc. Be sure to stop and visit these tables. You may park in the Cedar Hill lots and the Ridge High School lots. The front, doors, side entrance, and first-grade fire exit will be open for your convenience in getting into the building.
Kindergarten through fourth-grade teachers will be giving their presentations twice. If you are unable to make the first session, you are able to see the same presentation again at the second session. This also gives you better opportunities to see special-area teachers, instructional support teachers, and special education teachers.
ATTENTION FIFTH GRADE PARENTS: Because of our fifth-grade platooning schedule, our fifth-grade teachers will be presenting as a group during the second session in the cafeteria. All fifth-grade parents are requested to attend this session. During the first session, fifth-grade parents may visit special-area teachers.
5:45 - 6:00 p.m. - Looping slideshow will play on screen with light music as parents talk, go to tables in the back of the cafeteria, and get seated.
6:00 - 6:15 p.m. - Parents assemble in cafeteria for presentation. Mr. Ciempola, Mrs. Uhler, Ms. Wilcox, PTO presidents, and PEC will speak.
Ten minutes to get to first session
6:25 - 6:50 p.m.- Session 1 - Parents visit classrooms to view teachers' presentations.
BD, LLD, and CBAP teachers are requesting their parents to attend this session.
All fifth-grade parents may stop to see special-area teachers.
Ten minutes to get to second session
7:00 - 7:25 p.m. - Session 2- Parents visit classrooms to view teachers' presentations.
BD, LLD, and CBAP parents may attend general education teacher’s second session and/or stop to see special-area teachers.
All fifth-grade parents are requested to attend this session in the cafeteria.
