What is a Trunk-or-Treat?
It’s a safe and fun alternative or addition to trick-or-treating in which registered Cedar Hill families gather their vehicles in one area of our school parking lot, open their decorated trunks and give out candy or treats as our children walk from parked car to car and table to table to gather treats and enjoy the decorated trunks and tables!
WHAT else will be at the event?
Beyond trunk-or-treating, there is so much to look forward to! There will be music, a Shake Shack food truck, a 50/50 raffle, prizes for trunk and table decorations, and more fun!
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
There are multiple ways to participate:
Register your student (plus any siblings or friends, if desired) to be a trick-or-treater. The ticket cost is $10 per child if purchased in advance, or $15 on the day of the event.
You can register your family to host a trunk or table at no cost.
Please ensure that vehicles/tables decorations are suitable for all ages (if you are hosting a table, please bring one).
Host is responsible for providing non-food items or treats to hand out. Non-food items (e.g., stickers, bubbles, etc.) should be age-appropriate; treats should be individually wrapped and store-bought.
If desired, you can enter your trunk or table into a contest to win a $750 family gift basket (see below)! The entry fee for the contest is $20.
You can also contribute funds towards the purchase of additional treats and activities at event.
Please note: While we ask that parents offer non-food treats at their trunks, this is not a nut-free event.
